In order to volunteer, you must be:
- A minimum of 18 years of age
- Free and clear of a criminal record
- Fit enough to pass the physical
- Pass the firefighter academy written test and evolution
- Willing to give of your time, even if it’s in the middle of cold, dark and stormy night. Fires and emergencies never sleep, neither do the vigilant members of the Hamilton Fire Company
