It is being reported that medical examiners have ID’d the remains of the shooter. He is 52-year-old Mark Knobbe, who apparently blew his own brains out after committing his cowardly deed.
Found among the ashes of Knobbe’s home were three gun barrels, one of which is believed to have been the high powered rifle he used [...]

*Update* Forrest, Illinois Firefighter who Died Battling Blaze Identified
Sad news coming out of Forrest, Illinois. The fallen firefighter has been identified as 24-year-old Brian Munz of Fairbury.
Brian was killed when battling a house fire when the severely damaged home collapsed, killing him and injuring another firefighter.

Forrest, Illinois Firefighter Dies in Blaze
A Fairbury firefighter was killed and another injured during a house fire. The severely damaged structure collapsed on the two firefighters. The second firefighter survived with some minor injuries.
The intense fire took almost two hours to put out with companies responding from Fairbury, Chatsworth, Pontiac, Gibson City, Cullom and Strawn.
